School Philosophy

At Menisa, our vision is to engage students in their learning and provide support as they become self-motivated, critical thinkers who are well prepared for junior high and beyond. We offer regular inclusive programming from Kindergarten to Grade 6 as well as a division 1 and 2 Interactions Program. We have a strong and supportive parent community with a very active parent council. 

In Cree, Menisa means “many berries”.  The name was given to the school because of the wide variety of wild berries found in our area.
